A Round Table Discussion – “World War I: Results and Lessons”
On November 11, 2014, the Armenian Association of World History in commemoration of the centenary of the beginning of World War I organized a round table discussion on the theme of “World War I: Results and Lessons” in the Faculty of History of Yerevan State University.
The main speakers were:
- The editor of VEM Pan-Armenian Journal Prof. Dr. Gevorg Khudinyan, “The Geopolitical Precondition of the Armenian Genocide: On the Occasion of centenary of the beginning of World War I.”
- A lecturer at the World History Chair Karen Gasparyan, “The problem of the new Europe in the context of the Versailles system.”
- Associate Prof. PhD David Tinoyan, “Technical innovations in the art of war during the First World War.”
With the supplementary speeches were made by Associate Prof. PhD Lilit Minasyan, PhD Lilit Mkrtchyan, and by PhD students of the World History Chair Tigran Yepremyan, Julieta Ktshanyan and Samson Hovhannisyan.
